Musical Leadership:  Our band rehearses for Easter

Verse of the month:  Jeremiah 31:34 . No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each "Know the Lord," for they shall all know me from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sins no more.
VISION:    We are a non-geographical community of faith learning to be Lutheran Christians, growing in our ability to love one another, inviting and welcoming all who want to join with us in serving the larger community around us.

ELECTIONS:
 
Prairieview delegates. It was moved by Blaise DeMuth that Lloyd and Lisa continue serving as delegates  Motion Blaise DeMuth by seconded by Gerry Bayston Motion carried
 
Nominating committee: Council members who are leaving the council will serve.  Motion carried.
 
Synod representatives:  Blaise & Donna DeMuth Moved by Vicki
 
Memorial committee – Vicki Moore and Marlene Fuoss will serve on the committee.
 
BUDGET REP0RT
Ron Briscoe reported on the proposed budget for 2016.  We ended approximately $3800 under the projected budget. (Note: Pastoral services were decreased with loss of  ministers in April and shared minister for the remainder of the year.  Also the support staff did not bill for all their hours)  The proposed budget refelects a decrease to $85794.  (expenses (with the exception of mileage) are split with Cullom.  Moved by Gerry Bayston, seconded by Jim Flessner to adopt the proposed budget.  Motion carried
 
OLD BUSINESS:
 
Roof work has not been completed and windows have not been completed.  The Council will continue to work on the solution. 
 
NEW BUSINESS:
 
Question regarding with the use of the parsonage and tentative plan is for Judith Augsburger to use the facility for counseling.
 
Joyce Brewer moved and Davida Dehm Pietrzak seconded: that the windows be repaired using memorial fund moneys.  (The Council has authority of dispersing memorial fund monies that have been in the fund for more than one year – however families will be contacted.  Motion carried.
 
Condition of the basement wall was discussed.  Feeling of sealing and covering  were positive.  Also treating the East wall in the same manner was discussed.
 
Bob Frase has volunteered to remove the large pine tree at the parsonage with help to remove the debris.
 
The Church has implemented a new webpage  stpaulevluth.org
 
Bob Frase brought the need for pew bibles in the church.  He also mentioned the current use of the “Green” Hymnal as being in need of replacement.
